With a singular focus on 14k gold, Alliciante offers a simplified choice without the confusion of multiple lesser metal types. We are dedicated exclusively to exquisite fine jewelry made from 14k gold – sometimes adorned with beautiful gems and pearls.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is 14k gold?
Pure 24k gold is too soft for everyday wear. 14k gold strikes the perfect balance - blending pure gold with durable alloys for jewelry that's both beautiful and strong. This classic composition creates a rich, warm color that's also tarnish-resistant and hypoallergenic.
Many retailers will sell filled, plated, and vermeil 14k gold. This is not what we sell.
What is filled, plated, and vermeil jewelry – and why don't we sell any?
At Alliciante, our commitment to exceptional quality and value guides everything we do. While there are various types of gold jewelry available in the market – including filled, plated, and vermeil – we've chosen to focus exclusively on solid 14k gold (with the exception of some larger hollow pieces).
We recognize that the jewelry market can be complex to navigate. Terms like 'gold-filled,' 'gold-plated,' and 'vermeil' often create confusion about actual gold content, leading to uncertainty about true value.
By only using 14k gold, we ensure our customers always know exactly what they're investing in. Our goal is to educate and empower our customers to make informed decisions about their jewelry purchases, while delivering the lasting quality and value you deserve.
What’s the difference between solid and hollow gold?
All of our jewelry is made of solid 14k gold while some of the larger earrings and necklaces use an open-shell hollow construction that keeps the jewelry lightweight and comfortable.
This is different from filled, plated, and vermeil because your Alliciante jewelry is 14k gold through and through – there is no brass, silver, or some other subpar hiding behind your jewelry.
Do you offer a warranty?
Yes! All Alliciante jewelry comes with a one-year limited warranty from the date of original purchase against defects or issues resulting from the workmanship of the jewelry.
